- 2 years experience as a licensed salesperson
- Recommendations from brokers worked for as a salesperson

To apply, contact the state of West Virginia (304) 558-3555. There is a $100 application fee that must be submitted with the application. |

The West Virginia Real Estate Commission has entered in to reciprocal agreement with the following states:

| Examinations: |
- The exam is administered by the West Virginia Real Estate Commission
- Fee for the exam is $25
- Topics on the national portion of the exam include property ownership, land use control and regulations, valuation and market analysis, financing, laws of agency, mandated closures, contracts, transfer of property, practice of real estate, and real estate calculations.
- Topics on the state portion of the exam include real estate commission, licensure, regulation of conduct of licensees, broker/salesperson relationships, disclosures
