- The exam fee is $ 95
- The exam is broken down into two sections, State and National, which consists of 130 questions
- Time alloted for both sections is 3 hrs
- Topics in the national section include property ownership, land use control and regulations, valuation and market anlysis, financing, laws of agency, mandated disclosures, contracts, transfer of property, practice of real estate, real estate calculations
- Topics on the state portion include real estate commission, licensing requirements, real estate commission regulations, broker duties, disclosures, broker relationships, New Mexico Estate Recovery Fund
