The following is all the information needed for obtaining a salesperson license and how@ Home Prep can help pass the state exam!
License Education:
- 90 hours of prelicensing courses
Continuing Education:
- 24 hours of continuing education every 2 years
Other Requirements:
- Must be 18 years old
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Undergo a criminal background check
Applications:
To apply, contact the state of Nevada (702) 486-4033. There is an $125 application fee that must be submitted with the application.

Examinations:
- The testing company is PSI and can be contacted at (800) 733-9267
- The exam fee is $100
- Test is divided into two sections, National and State, which comprises 120 questions
- 3 hour time limit for both sections
- Topics on thestate portion of the exam include property ownership, land use control and regulations, valuation and market analysis, financing, laws of agency, mandated closures, contracts, transfer of property, practice of real estate, and real estate calculations.
- Topics on the state portion of the exam include duties and powers of the real estate commission, licensing requirements, business conduct
