The following is all the information needed for obtaining a broker license and how@ Home Prep can help pass the state exam!

License Education:
Pre-license

• 60 hours of prelicensing courses

Post License

• 30 hours of post licensing courses

Continuing Education:

• 16 hours of continuing education every 2 years
  

Other Requirements:

• Must be 18 years old
• Must have a high school diploma or GED

To apply, contact the state of Mississippi (601) 932-6770. There is an $135 application fee that must be submitted with the application.

• The testing company is PSI and can be contacted at (800) 733-9267
• Test consist of 100 multiple choice questions and a time limit of 4 hours
• Topics included on the exam include real estate priniciples and practices, real estate law, real estate valuation, real estate finance, special fields within real estate
