| Examinations: |
- The testing company is PSI and can be contacted at (800) 733-9267
- The exam fee is $75
- Test is divided into two sections, National and State, which comprises 135 questions
- 3 hour time limit for both sections
- Topics on the national portion of the exam include property ownership, land use control and regulations, valuation and market analysis, financing, laws of agency, mandated closures, contracts, transfer of property, practice of real estate, and real estate calculations.
- Topics on the state portion of the exam include duties and power of the real estate commission, licensing requirements, statutory requirements governing the activities of licensees, recovery fund, research and education fund, Louisiana civil law system, Louisiana law of agency
