Reciprocity Agreements

Arizona currently does not have "specific" reciprocal agreements with other states. If a license has been issued in another state, the ADEP will determine what courses and tests need to be taken in order to satisfy the state requirements.

Examination

Exam Details

  • The exam is administered by Prometric and can be reached at (800) 899-4091
  • The exam fee is $90
  • The exam is divided in to two sections, state and national sections with a 3 1/2 hour time limit
  • Topics on the national portion include business practice and ethics, agency, property, property valuation and the appraisal process, real estate sales contracts, financing, closing/settlement and transferring title, property management
  • Topics on the state portion of the exam include ownership/transfer, licensing, activities of licensees, finance/settlement, leasing and property management
