The following is all the information needed for obtaining a Broker license and how@ Home Prep can help pass the state exam!
| License Education: |
- 90 hours of "in state" prelicensing courses
- Additional broker management course

| Continuing Education: |
- 24 hours of continuing education every 2 years
|
| Other Requirements: |
- Must be 18 years old
- 3 years of experience as a licensed salesperson within the last 5 years
|
| Applications: |
Applications are distributed by the testing company upon passing the state exam |
| Reciprocity |
- Arizona currently does not have "specific" reciprocal agreements with other states. If a license has been issued in another state, the ADEP will determine what courses and tests need to be taken in order to satisfy the state requirements.

| Examinations: |
- The exam is administered by Prometric and can be reached at (800) 899-4091
- The exam fee is $90
- The exam is divided in to two sections, state and national sections with a 3 1/2 hour time limit
- Topics on the national portion include business practice and ethics, agency, property, property valuation and the appraisal process, real estate sales contracts, financing, closing/settlement and transferring title, property management
- Topics on the state portion of the exam include ownership/transfer, licensing, activities of licensees, finance/settlement, leasing and property management
